What Is Voxie Tactics?

Voxie Tactics, launched in 2021, offers an "easy to get into, but hard to master" experience for fans of the genre. The game has a large variety of NFTs, mechanics, and earning avenues for potential players to explore.
Voxie Tactics is a Polygon-based role-playing game (RPG) influenced by the classic tactics games of the ‘90s and ‘00s. The team has developed a more modern experience by updating old-time gameplay mechanics to suit contemporary preferences and expectations.
The game currently has two main gameplay modes, and one in development: 
PvP Battling. This feature occurs in arenas and utilizes turn-based combat in a 3D environment. Players must meet certain conditions, such as defeating all their enemies, to earn VOXEL.PvE Mode.  This is a special feature used for dedicated events.  Currently running is the Dragonfest event, an epic adventure where the goal is to defeat the Bone Dragon,to earn VOXEL.Exploration (in development). A story-driven experience where players can traverse the Voxie Tactics world and engage in player-versus-environment (PVE) combat. 
Alongside these are a variety of supplementary RPG-style gameplay mechanics, such as forging, leveling, and pets. Voxie Tactics uses NFTs to represent in-game assets and Voxie characters. Players can also sell these on the marketplace for VOXEL, the game's native utility token.
What Is VOXEL?
VOXEL is an ERC-20 utility token that acts as Voxie Tactic's official cryptocurrency. It has a total supply of 300 million tokens, of which 105 million are currently available. VOXEL powers all transactions in Voxie Tactics, including acquiring new assets with extra in-game value and upgrades. 
Players can use the token to buy in-game consumables and services like renting Voxies, as well as to pay recipe fees in The Arcanist's Forge. Players can also use VOXEL to burn unused NFTs and create new items with different stats. There is even physical merchandise players can buy with VOXEL tokens.
Players earn VOXEL by winning in Extreme or Draft arena player-versus-player (PVP) battles. The amount of VOXEL awarded depends on the rarity of the Voxies used in the fight. Players have higher chances of earning more significant amounts of VOXEL or even rare NFTs when using rarer Voxies. What Are Voxie Tactics NFTs?
NFTs represent the unique items and characters found in the Voxie Tactics world. These are split into two main categories:
Voxie character NFTs. There are 10,000 genesis Voxie characters belonging to 20 classes, 10 races, and 20 companion types that feature a wide range of different physical attributes.NFT items. These include multiple weapons, armor pieces, usable gear, and cosmetic upgrades.
Players can also rent out their Voxie Tactics in-game asset NFTs and Voxie character NFTs for NFT and VOXEL rewards. As mentioned earlier, players can burn unused NFTs (after paying a VOXEL fee) to create new items with different stats. Over 60% of all items have already been burned and upgraded, indicating a deflationary aspect to the NFT market.
Voxie Tactics rewarded early Voxie NFT supporters with weekly allotments of VOXEL over 24 weeks. NFT holders shown in a snapshot of overall ownership had VOXEL airdropped to their wallets, according to NFT rarity multipliers.

Voxie Tactics offers a familiar experience for blockchain game fans while introducing some newer experimental concepts. By making Polygon its home, the game is instantly more affordable for users to play and experiment with than Ethereum-based games.
