Let’s talk today about how important it is for any strong community to have a unified style for their logos or social media avatars. In reality, only a few projects can afford to do this, and there are many reasons why:
In most cases, 99.99% of projects have narratives that are so short lived that building a real identity just doesn’t make sense. Why invest time and effort into designing a consistent visual style if, in a few weeks, the project will be shut down and replaced with a new one? Exactly, there’s no point.
This leads to the second point, people aren’t willing to change their personal style for a one day game. But honestly, it goes even deeper than that.
The moment someone changes their logo, they become loyal to the project on a deeper level. They start associating themselves with it, they become part of it. That says a lot. It significantly increases trust in the project, and it naturally sparks curiosity.
Outsiders start noticing more and more people with matching avatars, click into their profiles, and dive deeper into the narrative. In other words, this becomes a passive mechanism for continuously attracting new community members.
It’s also crucial that the logo style connects to the narrative, and I think in our case we’ve thought it through well.
Gold is historically the ultimate defensive asset during economic crises. There’s a phrase gaining popularity right now, HOLD is gold. On top of that, the visual symbolism of BNB and Binance is built around black and yellow, or black and gold tones.
Our coin’s current logo is gold, and the letter O is replaced with a gold diamond. So giving every community member a logo in this style is a great way to trigger that association in people’s minds.
And most importantly, Binance’s core logo is also a diamond, and Binance is exactly where we’re going to end up sooner or later.
If you want to be part of our project, we’ll be happy to help you create a logo. Just reach out to us in any way that’s convenient, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
