Japan’s Nikkei 225 slipped 0.6% to around 63,300 on Tuesday after Tokyo and Washington confirmed a coordinated yen-buying operation. Kioxia Holdings rose slightly, even after the company’s fiscal first-half operating income guidance missed analyst estimates on July 31.
