I opened Binance Square a couple of days ago and was simply scrolling to spend a couple of minutes but I spent much more time reading about @Pixels . This time it was not the game itself but how people were telling about their own progress that caught my attention. It was authentic, basic and an experience that I could connect to in my life.
I had no great expectations when I began to read Pixels. Similar to others, I believed that it was going to be another trending project. However, after having spent some time with it, I started to realize the concept of a consistent growth. In the case of PIXEL, improvements do not occur overnight. It takes you a long time to construct it and that is why each little success counts.
One of the things I did notice is the way Pixels is able to teach patience and not to make it boring. You arrange your land, gathers resources and strategize your next step. It is like in real life where it is rather a matter of persistence than instant gratification. This uncomplicated method drew my attention to me and engaged me as time went on.
Later on, I began drawing parallels between Pixels and other projects such as Decentraland and Axie Infinity as I continued to learn. Although the mentioned projects possess their merits, Pixels seems to be less tense and harder to watch. It does not strain you and that makes it even more pleasant to everyday users who simply desire a pleasant experience.
Another reason that I constantly revisit is the community surrounding #pixel . Individuals freely provide tips, updates as well as their errors. Such a sincerity assists a beginner user to grasp things quicker. It does not seem like a competition, it seems like mutual learning process in which every one is learning with each other.
I also enjoy Pixels relating applied effort to real worth. It does not waste the time you spend, it has something to construct with time. On the one hand each action is purposeful with PIXEL and that brings about a sense of direction. It is not merely playing but it is also a development by step in a virtual environment.
In retrospect, I can affirm that at present, the Web3 projects seem different to me due to the experience I had with Pixels. It made me understand that not all things have to be quick and complex to be worthwhile. Occasionally even straightforward concepts that progress consistently can make the most significant experiences. And true to say that is what makes me want to be interested every day.
