so we've seen 2 things happen lately: - Abstract publicly supporting degen/gambling products/games result: community unhappy about the brand/team supporting those teams - Ronin not publicly supporting degen/gambling products/games result: community unhappy about the lack of support toward those teams from brand/team at the end of the day, most of those projects will end up poorly (and with a down only chart) people will then call it a scam (when ultimately, it's a project that simply failed) and it's always (very) easy to dunk on it afterward, when it doesn't go well i believe it's becoming a lot harder for teams to satisfy communities because communities have 1/ (very) high expectations 2/ don't really know what they want themselves 3/ unability to own our mistakes, do our own research and decide what's good (or not) i remember a time where we would blame ourselves for not investing our time and money into the right protocols now it seems like it's always the brands/teams/creators fault how would you fix it? what would you like to see teams do more? less?

KGeN announced their phase 1 snapshot if you participated, you'll be able to claim your rKGEN in the following days if not, let me tell you a bit more about their current status: - market is flooded by bots and vanity metrics, and KGeN is positioning itself as the go-to protocol to provide real users, through their Verified Distribution Protocol (VDP) - current user journey works as follow: > engage with the kgen app > complete quests (gaming, social, RLHF) > earn kcash > redeem items on K-Store (such as Steam gift cards or Amazon vouchers) - users build their persona based on their actions on the app - i can see a future where that persona will have some extra value, where projects would handpick high-quality users to airdrop them / or even hire some folks - based on the last announcements from KGeN, i'm pretty sure we'll see them add non-gaming quests on the app soon (we've seen the Merkle Trade partnership recently for example) play games > try products > learn new stuff > earn - worth noting that it's a revenue generating + profitable company (unlike most of the companies in our market)
