According to BlockBeats, crypto KOL AB Kuai.Dong analyzed the massive account banning incident on platform X targeting crypto users that occurred this morning, stating, "The most credible result is that this wave of bans is a result of banning crawler data behavior that does not go through Twitter's official interface. According to previous official quotes, corporate accounts looking to retrieve 200 million tweets need to pay over $200,000 monthly, while companies like gmgn, ai16z, and eliza that do Twitter searches and automatic replies likely have a request volume around 1 billion per month. Some companies to save money used third-party crawlers and were collectively banned. This also affected the bloggers previously mentioned multiple times, such as gmgn and ai16z, who are estimated to have been considered related matrix accounts."

AB Kuai.Dong also stated, "This is why many Web3 task platforms have struggled to operate in the past; the interface fees gradually exceed the platform's income. Each time a user completes a Twitter task and goes to verify, the platform has to pay to request a wave of data."
