Dutch parliament backs ban on goods from illegal Israeli settlements 🚨

The Netherlands’ House of Representatives has backed a government measure to ban the import and sale of products from illegal Israeli settlements, Dutch Foreign Trade Minister Sjoerd Sjoerdsma said.

A Dutch cabinet statement indicated that the ban would also cover settlers in the occupied Golan Heights, which Israel captured from Syria.

“I think this is going to be interesting to follow, because on the day after, when the dust all settles, there are going to be even more tensions and disagreements in the Gulf as a result of what’s transpired” over the course of this war, said Elmasry.
