The U.S. Senate and House reached a bipartisan deal on a housing bill that would ban the Federal Reserve from issuing a CBDC through Dec. 31, 2030. The updated 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act now heads to its first procedural Senate vote. A House vote is reportedly expected after lawmakers return from recess around June 23.
