Hidden Alpha!!
Everyone is talking about stablecoins but the real story is the chains being built around them.
USD1 just launched natively on Tempo and almost nobody is paying attention.
USDC there is still bridged and USDT is wrapped through LayerZero.
USD1 is issued directly on Tempo itself.
No bridge sitting in middle and no extra IOU layer and the wild part i personally like is Tempo doesn’t even use a native gas token.
You pay fees with stablecoins.
In my opinion this is early rails of a real internet payments system.

the mechanics i described on may 10 are playing out exactly as expected. pre-unlock squeeze, then the actual unlock on may 11 with 38M tokens, then sell-the-news and a long liquidation cascade. textbook.
current picture: price $0.115, mcap $51.4M, spot volume dropped to $25M, OI $20.7M.
long/short ratio sitting in longs at 1.38–1.64 depending on the exchange.
funding rate deeply negative, long liquidations dominating on Binance and OKX.
so now it’s the longs getting squeezed.
with longs this dominant we’re looking at an overbought setup.
if the broader market moves up that becomes a catalyst for LAYER too.
if we stay sideways i think we see another 8–15% drop at minimum.
dead silence on X, zero organic hype, no moonshot spam, no FOMO, nothing. just occasional tech updates.
pure speculation with no narrative behind it. until a real catalyst shows up i don’t see a reason to keep watching this one.
P.S. we also don’t know whether all traders have locked in their positions following the rise, so the consolidation may continue.
