The next Bloomberg won’t be a replica of Bloomberg.
It’ll be a combination of:
1) Massive distribution via open data, podcasts, streaming, newsletters, and social
2) Data and analytics platform that monetizes via both subscriptions and APIs
3) AI platform custom built for financial markets
4) Strong communities that activate both online and IRL
5) Prediction markets that are tightly integrated with the news business
6) Trusted creators with big brands at the heart of the content
Must be crypto native (as all assets move onchain) with AI embedded into the entire organization.

This will be bigger.

Our brain and online experience has been programmed by algos created by big social.
Crypto is our best shot at breaking that.
Things like Pump fun, Time fun, Fantasy, Ethos, etc are really about building markets around attention and trust and social capital.
This will get very important as new generations are terminally online and probably care more about their online reputation than their IRL reputation.
It's inning #1 for redesigning how people get rewarded for their online actions.

Stripe x Privy acquisition is a great reminder of 5 things.
1) @henri_stern and team are relentless with product, there will always be a massive opportunity for founders and teams who build 10x products
2) Privy launched in mid 2021, you're still early
3) Privy launched as a privacy solution then pivoted to wallets, once you find PMF go all in on that thing
4) Don't focus so much on retail, there are huge opportunities in the B2B space to build real businesses with real revenue and real customers
5) Sequoia is good at selling their crypto port co's to Stripe :)
