Hyperliquid's Stance: Hyperliquid Labs told the Financial Times that the platform is officially registered and headquartered in Singapore, with corporate documents reflecting the same. The team also clarified that they never claimed to hold an MAS license and are open to constructive cooperation.
MAS Stance: Meanwhile, Singapore's central bank and financial regulator (MAS) stated that the platform falls outside its regulatory jurisdiction. Due to its decentralized nature, the regulator does not view it as a traditional domestic business entity under its direct oversight.
