This is one of those crypto updates that sounds small… until you think about what it actually means.

Starting September 30, eligible international tourists visiting Japan can use **Binance Pay to pay at participating PayPay merchants across Japan**.

The interesting part?

The customer pays with crypto — **the merchant receives Japanese yen.** 💴

No crypto wallet for the restaurant.
No need for the shop owner to hold BTC or USDT.
The existing QR-payment infrastructure handles the checkout.

And Binance says eligible tourists can currently access a **limited-time 10% instant discount** on qualifying PayPay payments.

This is a different kind of crypto adoption:

🌍 Tourist → local merchant
₿ Digital assets → everyday spending
💴 Merchant → receives local currency

The bigger question isn't whether crypto can be traded.
