The Bitcoin 4-year cycle isn't necessarily dead.
But the numbers show why the next phase matters.

2017 peak: roughly $19,800

2018 bear-market low: roughly $3,200

2021 peak: roughly $69,000

2022 bear-market low: roughly $15,500

That's a very different market today.

Bitcoin's 2025 peak reached roughly $126,000, meaning the market has already matured significantly compared with the previous two cycles.

The interesting question for 2026 isn't whether Bitcoin must repeat 2018 or 2022.

It's whether the market is still following a four-year liquidity and investor-psychology rhythm.

If the pattern weakens, historical drawdowns become less useful as a roadmap.

If it persists, the size and timing of the next major correction become much more important.

Bitcoin has changed.

The cycle may have to change with it.
