F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun said he banned all members of the Zcash team six years ago after they repeatedly confused EST and EDT, which he said showed a lack of basic principles. According to ChainCatcher, Wang said he still considers the move one of his most correct decisions.

Wang compared the incident with BlockFi, saying the company once mistakenly sent 701.4 BTC instead of 701.4 dollars to a user. He said people who cannot distinguish between EDT and EST are also likely to confuse BTC and USD.
