ETH and XRP just lost some ETF momentum… but I'm not panicking. 👀
This is one of those headlines where the headline sounds worse than the actual data.
Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded about $48.08M in net outflows, ending a 12-day inflow streak that had accumulated roughly $1.62B. XRP ETFs also ended an 11-session inflow streak.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin ETFs bounced back with about $101.15M in inflows on the same day.
Current prices are roughly:
BTC ~$81K
ETH ~$2.49K
XRP ~$1.46
So here's my takeaway:
One day of ETF outflows doesn't automatically mean institutional demand disappeared.
I want to see whether the outflows continue for several sessions.
If ETH and XRP start seeing persistent redemptions while BTC keeps absorbing capital, then we may be looking at capital rotation, not simply market weakness.
Are institutions rotating back toward BTC, or is this just a pause?
