According to Jin10, OpenAI is set to release a highly anticipated new device with a distinctive look and moving parts, priced at more than $300 and due in 2027. The product is essentially a screenless smart speaker shaped like a doughnut and roughly the size of a hockey puck, designed to be easy to carry with one hand around the home. OpenAI also wants the device to show that its design does not copy Apple (AAPL.O), as the two companies are currently in legal proceedings over whether the AI company stole Apple's intellectual property.
