U.S. Congressman Ro Khanna is set to introduce a bill that would prohibit the president, members of Congress, and their families from trading or creating cryptocurrencies.
The proposal follows Donald Trump’s controversial pardon of Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, convicted over money-laundering failures.
Khanna called the pardon “corrupt,” alleging ties between Trump family crypto ventures and Binance.
