He highlighted Polymarket’s influence during the U.S. election, noting how markets now reflect reality faster than traditional media — a sign that decentralized forecasting is evolving into a critical tool for real-time truth.
Buterin suggested that with AI integration, prediction markets could soon forecast everyday events with remarkable precision. The fusion of AI and blockchain-based markets may redefine how societies gauge sentiment, risk, and probability — making forecasting more intelligent and accessible.
