The #Ethereum Foundation has sent 160,000 $ETH (around $654 million) to a wallet Arkham stated had been used to sell in the past
"This wallet has only sent bigger transfers to: Kraken Deposit SharpLink Gaming, a multisig which sells $ETH ,"
Arkham said in an X post. The foundation's co-Executive Director Hsiao-Wei Wang then went to X to clarify the transfer was a scheduled wallet migration.
Arkham's subsequent post on the transfer gained considerable traction on other reactions, with some referring to last week's criticism of the spending of the non-profit #Ethereum oundation. Péter Szilágyi, former lead developer at Geth for the Ethereum Foundation, stirred controversy in recent days by re-circulating a letter he sent to foundation leadership last year.
