🔮 Michael Saylor Predicts: Apple, Google & Nations Will Rule Bitcoin’s Base Layer by 2035! 🌍📲

MicroStrategy executive chairman Michael Saylor told BTC Sessions that Bitcoin's base layer would become an institutional settlement rail controlled by the world's major banks, technological platforms, and sovereign actors. Saylor predicted that direct on-chain activity would be reserved for “mega” organizations and retail use will shift to tiered infrastructure in the future.

Saylor predicted that significant banks and tech companies, such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft, might settle or move substantial sums of Bitcoin on the foundation layer. He said “the biggest users of the base layer would be Apple and Google and the US and Bank of China and Bank of Russia and Bank of England,” along with Citi, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Santander, Deutsche Bank, Swiss institutions, and the Bank of Japan.

He said that Cit[i] would transfer billions of dollars of Bitcoin among significant financial institutions, while Microsoft would transfer billions and tens of billions of Bitcoin between Microsoft and Google to resolve technical issues. Also participating: “Visa, any of the payment networks, they'll have massive amounts of Bitcoin.”

Saylor described the ecosystem's future form as stratified. The base network will host 10 to 100,000 large financial institutions, with scaling layers such as the Lightning Network and a competitive field of custodial or semi-open “layer 3” networks operated by exchanges, fintechs, and consumer platforms. The Lightning Network is a high-speed, high-frequency Layer 2 that could connect 100,000 or a million websites or mobile apps. Saylor believes Layer 3 settings can handle billions of transactions, with end users interacting with Bitcoin via intermediary services rather than broadcasting base-layer transactions.
