ARPA Network is pleased to announce a new integration with AREA, a next-generation restaking platform that allows users to directly restake into Autonomous Verifiable Services (AVSs) built on EigenLayer’s native smart contracts. This collaboration brings ARPA AVS to a broader ecosystem of restakers, enhancing accessibility, flexibility, and network decentralization across the Ethereum restaking landscape.

Restakers can now earn ~551% APY on ARPA and ~3.54% APY on ETH, with rewards distributed through xARPA, a liquid token representing restaked positions that can be used in DeFi or traded at will. By supporting ARPA AVS directly, AREA expands the options available to restakers seeking to contribute to verifiable infrastructure services while optimizing rewards and trustless security guarantees.

AREA: Enabling Seamless Access to Restaking Infrastructure

AREA provides a streamlined interface for restakers to explore, assess, and directly delegate to AVSs across the EigenLayer ecosystem. Designed with flexibility and composability in mind, AREA simplifies the complexity of restaking by offering a unified platform that supports native integrations with smart contracts on Ethereum.

With AREA, restakers no longer need to rely solely on protocol-level routing or manual delegation tools. Instead, they gain a tailored dashboard that exposes real-time metrics, validator performance, and protocol compatibility, enabling restakers to make more informed decisions. This structure supports the growing demand for modular security services while reducing the friction involved in adopting new AVSs like ARPA.

By eliminating the need for third-party liquid restaking tokens (LRTs) and intermediaries, AREA allows users to restake ETH or ARPA directly into ARPA’s network. In return, users receive xARPA, a composable, liquid staking token that reflects their position in the ARPA AVS.

ARPA AVS: Verifiable Infrastructure For Decentralized Randomness

ARPA AVS powers Randcast, a decentralized verifiable randomness protocol providing tamper-proof random number generation for Web3 applications from GameFi and NFTs to validator selection, zkML, and AI sampling. As a core infrastructure component, ARPA AVS relies on a distributed network of validators to ensure randomness is both secure and publicly verifiable.

Through its integration with AREA, ARPA can now reach an even wider base of restakers who wish to contribute to the Randcast network. By restaking through AREA’s interface, users can participate in the growth of verifiable randomness infrastructure while earning yield from a transparent, on-chain process.

A Simpler, Smarter Way to Restake

This integration between ARPA and AREA isn’t just about tech, it’s about giving users more control and better options. By making it easy to restake directly into ARPA AVS, we’re opening up access to a growing network that powers secure, verifiable randomness for Web3.

ARPA and AREA will continue working closely to enhance protocol-level visibility, provide education for restakers, and support new use cases powered by secure randomness. Future initiatives may include technical deep-dives, staking tutorials, and community engagement efforts to drive adoption and alignment across the broader EigenLayer ecosystem.

For early supporters, AREA is unlocking priority access for the first 100 ARPA users via invite code ARPA. To get started, visit area.club, connect your wallet, and restake directly into ARPA AVS to power the next generation of verifiable randomness in Web3.

About ARPA

ARPA Network (ARPA) is a decentralized, secure computation network built to improve the fairness, security, and privacy of blockchains. The ARPA threshold BLS signature network serves as the infrastructure for a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), secure wallet, cross-chain bridge, and decentralized custody across multiple blockchains.

ARPA was previously known as ARPA Chain, a privacy-preserving Multi-party Computation (MPC) network founded in 2018. ARPA Mainnet has completed over 224,000 computation tasks in the past years. Our experience in MPC and other cryptography laid the foundation for our innovative threshold BLS signature schemes (TSS-BLS) system design and led us to today’s ARPA Network.

Randcast, a verifiable Random Number Generator (RNG), is the first application that leverages ARPA as infrastructure. Randcast offers a cryptographically generated random source with superior security and low cost compared to other solutions. Metaverse, game, lottery, NFT minting and whitelisting, key generation, and blockchain validator task distribution can benefit from Randcast’s tamper-proof randomness.
