Elon Musk announced the America Party on July 5 after US President Donald Trump signed the “Big Beautiful Bill” on July 4. Musk said the new party would back Bitcoin because “fiat is hopeless.”

Musk said on X on July 7 that the America Party is the answer, re-posting E/Acc founder's comment that centrism is now a radical, “batshit crazy idea.”

Musk posted on X again today, July 7, arguing that the America Party is essential to battle the Republican/Democrat Uniparty and that US debt has always increased.

Musk said that US debt exceeded $30 trillion between 1981 and 2023.

On July 5, Musk launched the America Party, a third political party to “End the Uniparty” after Trump signed the Big Beautiful Law on July 4.

Apparently, the America Party program will:

Be pro-tech and advance AI.

Reduce regulation, particularly energy

Pro-free speech, pro-natalist

Provide centrist policies
