In February 2024, a New York court ordered Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump to pay over $8 million for their roles in fraudulent business dealings tied to the Trump Organization.

The court also found former President Donald Trump and his company liable for nearly $464 million in profits and interest, citing inflated asset values used to mislead banks and lenders.

As part of the ruling:

Don Jr. and Eric were fined $4 million each

Both are banned from holding executive roles in any New York company for two years

Trump himself is barred from similar roles and getting loans from NY banks for three years

Eric Trump called the ruling "a total joke" and said the family would appeal.
