TheCryptoBasic just released a new thread revealing that NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen is keeping a close eye on two popular crypto assets: XRP and Shiba Inu. As many in the crypto space look ahead to the next bull run, Pippen shared which coins he thinks have the most potential to perform well.
Along with Bitcoin, which is a core part of most crypto portfolios, Pippen said he’s paying special attention to Shiba Inu and XRP. He also mentioned other major cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Cardano, Solana, Dogecoin, Chainlink, and BNB. But it was his spotlight on SHIB and XRP that really stood out to the community.
This isn’t the first time Pippen has shown interest in these tokens. Back in March, he publicly expressed his confidence in XRP. He called it one of his top picks and said he believes it has strong potential in the long run. Last year, he even got into a debate on X (Twitter), where many of his followers suggested XRP might outperform Ethereum during the next bull cycle.

As for Shiba Inu, Pippen has also spoken highly of it. In May, he posted about the start of Altcoin Season and named SHIB as a key token to watch. His continued support has given both communities something to rally behind, especially as the market waits for clearer signs of momentum.
Still, the recent price action hasn’t been too exciting. Shiba Inu is down over 21% in the last month and is currently trading at $0.00001121. XRP has also seen a dip, falling about 9% in the past 30 days to around $2.09. But many believe this is just a pause before a major move.
Analysts are still confident that SHIB and XRP could hit new all-time highs in 2025. Some forecasts suggest that Shiba Inu might break above $0.0001, a level that would represent a major milestone. Analysts like Javon Marks and Eunice Wong have backed this target.
When it comes to XRP, predictions are even more dramatic. Altcoin Moe thinks XRP could hit $5 by the end of 2025. Meanwhile, others like Dustin Layton believe that’s way too conservative. He has set a minimum target of $50, arguing that XRP’s upside is still being underestimated.
With voices like Pippen supporting them and major analysts offering bold forecasts, XRP and Shiba Inu are two tokens to watch as the next market rally unfolds.
