The first phase commenced on February 18, 2025, focusing on creditors with claims up to $50,000. These individuals are set to receive full repayment plus 9% annual interest accrued since November 2022. Subsequent repayment phases are scheduled for April 11 and May 30, 2025. In total, FTX aims to distribute between €12.3 billion and €15 billion in recovered assets through platforms like BitGo and Kraken. Notably, 98% of customers are expected to receive approximately 118% of their claimed amounts. This development reflects the company's efforts to rectify the financial disruptions caused by its previous mismanagement.
