Bitcoin is once again on a sharp upward trajectory, hitting a new all-time high of $111,800. The main drivers behind this bullish move are the symbolic Bitcoin Pizza Day, which stirs up excitement across the crypto community, and massive whale accumulation, with transactions exceeding $76 billion.

🔹 Bitcoin Celebrates and Climbs – Pizza Day as a Catalyst
Every year on May 22, the crypto world celebrates the famous moment when someone bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC. This legendary “crypto pizza” has since become a symbol of Bitcoin’s growth – and this year’s celebration comes with a strong price rally.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $111,557, marking a 1.6% increase over the last 24 hours, a 19.3% gain over 30 days, and a staggering 61.4% year-to-date. These numbers clearly show that the market is bullish, with strong investor demand.

🔹 $76 Billion in Whale Transactions – A Powerful Signal
According to blockchain analytics firm IntoTheBlock, Bitcoin transactions surged to $76 billion on May 13, nearly double the $37 billion seen just three days earlier. These were large-scale moves—over $100,000 per transaction—mostly attributed to institutional players.
This activity coincided with BTC breaking through the $105,000 level, indicating that whale accumulation is fueling price discovery. Historically, such spikes in large transaction volumes have preceded major bull runs in Bitcoin cycles.
The rally is also supported by expectations of lower U.S. interest rates and the strengthening narrative of Bitcoin as “digital gold,” especially in the post-halving environment.

🔹 Positive Volume Delta Confirms Broad Market Interest
Another key factor: a positive volume delta—the net difference between buy and sell pressure. In the last six trading sessions, this delta was strongly positive on four occasions. For example, on Thursday, net demand reached 2,770 BTC on Binance.
This confirms that not only institutional OTC inflows but also retail traders on spot exchanges are actively buying in.
In the last 10 days, Bitcoin has surged from $94,000 to $111,430—an 18.5% jump. Daily candles are consistently closing near the upper Bollinger Band, indicating sustained market interest.

🔹 The Technical Outlook: Next Stop – $120,000?
The bullish trend remains intact. The middle Bollinger Band now sits at $103,522 and acts as dynamic support. The upper band at $112,942 serves as short-term resistance.
If BTC breaks above this level with solid volume, analysts expect the rally to continue toward the psychologically important $120,000 mark.
A dip below $108,000 could trigger a short-term correction toward the $103,000 zone. However, if whales continue to accumulate during any pullbacks, the case for retesting $120,000 in the coming week remains strong.

Bitcoin (BTCUSD) is experiencing the weakest Bull Cycle in its history, a natural product of the Theory of Diminishing Returns (TDM).
This chart couldn't have put it better as we show all Cycles since BTC's first day, one on top of the other. Naturally the first Cycles were the most aggressive, witnessing extraordinary gains as the upside potential of a fresh market was enormous in its early days.
The 2015 - 2017 (blue trend-line) and 2019 - 2021 (black trend-line) Bull Cycles have been harmonized to a more traditional capital market state and this is obvious on their trend-lines, which exhibit similar parallel price action. Whenever the two diverged, they converged at some point during the Cycle.
The current Cycle (2023 - 2025) following the late February 2025 divergence, is now attempting to converge again with its strong rebound in the past 6 weeks. Being however within a Channel Up throughout the entirety of the Cycle, it appears that it will do so in a structured way and as the TDM suggests, will offer weaker gains.
What we can project, as we've shown on previous studies in great detail, is the timing of the Cycle Top. Based on past Cycles, it should be within October - December 2025. Timing your exit strategy can perhaps be more effective than assigning a certain Target, even though the peak is expected to be anywhere within the $150k - $200k range.

Капитализация рынка 3.45 трлн., индекс доминирования 64.07%
Даже совершенно не позитивный внешний фон (рост доходностей облигаций продолжается, индекс доллара тоже растет и приближается к 100, S&P 500 около нуля) росту Биткоина пока не мешает.
Главная причина - фондовые рынки под давлением из-за падения спроса на американские облигации. Но все понимают, что такую ситуацию США долго не вывезут, а значит, ФРС вынуждена будет генерировать деньги и эти облигации выкупать.
Генерация денег - главный позитив для крипты.
А тут еще и Strategy  вновь привлекает 1.2 млрд.для покупок Биткоина.
Что дальше?
Ранее я говорил о важности уровней капитализации.
Как видим, после взятия 3 трлн.увидели хороший рост всего рынка.
Сейчас капитализация крипторынка приближается к следующему важному уровню, 3.5 -3.6 трлн. От него  дважды (в декабре 2024 и в январе 2025) отскакивали вниз.
Посмотрим, когда и как Биткоин пройдет уровень в 3.5-3.6 трлн. в этот раз.
Достижение этого уровня капитализации может быть как за счет роста Биткоина (альты на месте или в небольшом плюсе), так и за счет роста альтов (в первую очередь Эфира и Соланы к целям мая- 3К и 200 соответственно).
Если завтра на рынках не будет никаких потрясений, и Биткоин уйдет на выходные, находясь выше 110К, рост альтов можем увидеть уже на этих выходных.
На ближайшие сутки приоритетный вариант - Биткоин в диапазоне с нижней границей на 106000-104500 и верхней на 112000-112500
Альтернативный - закрепление выше 112500.

Bitcoin (BTCUSD) is about to enter the final week of May, with the month mostly likely to close on a strong green candle, the 2nd straight. Though it made yesterday a new All Time High (ATH) above 109k and many are already talking about a bearish reversal, this chart shows that there is still plenty of time left before the current Bull Cycle tops.
If fact a simple measurement of the Bottom to Bottom and Bottom to Top ranges of the last 3 Cycles is enough to present all the evidence that are needed for this case.
As you can see, the previous 2 Bull Cycles lasted for 35 months (1065 days) from Bottom to Top. Similarly, the Bottom to Bottom (Bear Cycle to Bear Cycle) measurement has been 47 months (1430 days).
This amazing symmetry suggest that BTC is more likely than not to repeat this feat on the current Cycle as well. A 35 month range from Top to Top indicates that the Bull Cycle is expected to peak on October 2025, while a 47 month Bottom to Bottom range indicates that the next Bear Cycle should bottom in October 2026! As far as a potential price top is concerned, various of the previous analyses we've conducted show that $200k is a fair maximum, but the current study focuses on the timing of profit taking and not specific price levels.
