You can now use KES (Kenyan Shilling), XOF (West African CFA franc), XAF (Central African CFA franc), ZMW (Zambian Kwacha), USD (United States Dollar) or SLE (Sierra Leonean Leone) to buy crypto on the Binance app or website.
How to buy crypto by entering a PIN code on the Binance app?
1. Log in to your Binance app and tap [Add Funds].
2. Choose the currency you want to pay with by selecting the button in the top right column, and tap [Buy with ...].
3. Here, you can choose to buy crypto with different fiat currencies. For this example, we’ll use XOF to buy USDT.
Enter the fiat amount you want to spend, and the system will automatically display the amount of crypto you can get. Tap [Verify and Buy] to proceed.
4. If you haven’t completed the identity verification for your Binance account, you’ll be prompted to do so at this step. Follow the instructions to complete both authenticator app and phone number verification.
5. Select [Mobile Money] and tap [Preview Order]. Please note that available payment providers may vary depending on your location. Please select a provider that indicates Mobile Money.
6. If you haven’t added a mobile money account before, please provide your account details, including the provider, phone number, and email. Tap [Confirm] to continue.
7. Carefully review the payment details and transaction fees. Ensure you have sufficient balance in your account before tapping [Confirm].
Please note that the price and corresponding amount of crypto may be recalculated automatically at any given time.
8. After you confirm the transaction, you will receive a prompt for a PIN on your phone. Please enter your PIN to authorize the payment request within 15 minutes.
Then tap [I’ve authorized the payment] to proceed.
If you don’t complete the payment request within 15 minutes, tap [Try Again] to authorize the transaction again. You can also tap [View Order History] to check the status of your order.
9. Please wait patiently for the order to process. This will usually take 1 day.
Once your transaction is successfully completed, you may check the order details by tapping [Check Wallet].

You can now use XOF (West African CFA franc) to buy crypto on the Binance app and website.
1. Tap [Add Funds]. Choose the fiat currency you want to use by tapping the currency selector in the top-right corner, then tap [Buy with …].
2. If you haven’t completed the identity verification for your Binance account, you’ll be prompted to do so at this step. Follow the instructions to complete both authenticator app and phone number verification.
3. Enter the amount of money you want to spend, and select the crypto you wish to buy. Under ‘Pay With,’ choose [Mobile Money], then tap [Preview Order] to continue.
4. If you haven’t added a Wave account before, you will be asked to provide your phone number and email. Tap [Confirm] to proceed.
5. Carefully review the payment details and transaction fees. Please note that the crypto price and the equivalent amount may be recalculated in real-time.
6. After confirming the transaction, you’ll be redirected to the Wave App.
Make sure you’ve downloaded the Wave App—if not, please go to App Store or Google Play to download it.
Check the box and tap [Continue].
7. In the Wave App, confirm the payment.
8. Return to the Binance app. Once we receive your funds, you’ll be notified immediately.
9. To check the order details at any time, go to [Trade] - [History] - [Buy].
3. How long does it take for the transaction to complete? Most transactions are processed within 24 hours. You can check the order status anytime under [Order History].
4. What if I miss the 15-minute PIN authorization window? Tap [Try Again] on the Binance app to reinitiate the PIN authorization request.
5. What should I do if my mobile money PIN doesn’t work? Double-check that you entered the correct PIN associated with your mobile money account. If the issue persists, please contact your mobile money provider.
6. Is 2FA required for this payment method? Yes, you must complete both phone number and authenticator app verification before buying crypto.
7. What if I don’t have the Wave App installed? You will be redirected to the Wave App during the transaction process. If you don’t have it installed, you can download it from the App Store or Google Play.
