Important notes:

  • The Portfolio Margin mode does not support trading bots, except for Futures and Spot Grid Trading. However, please note that your trading bot balance won’t be included in the margin calculation.
  • When you create a Futures Grid under the Portfolio Margin Mode, the funds will be transferred from your Spot Wallet. However, if you’ve enabled BNB fee payment, the BNB fee deduction will continue to use the asset in your USDⓈ-M Futures Wallet, which will lead to changes in the equity and risk level of the Portfolio Margin Account. Please pay attention to the risk level to avoid liquidation of the Portfolio Margin Account.
  • To return to the default trading mode, you must ensure your negative balance is cleared first.
  • To ensure uninterrupted API access, please recreate your API Key after enabling/disabling the Portfolio Margin mode.

How to activate Portfolio Margin for sub-accounts?

You can enable the Portfolio Margin mode for your managed sub-accounts and virtual sub-accounts. Log in to the master account and go to [Account Management]. Click the icon under [PM] next to a virtual sub-account and select [Enable Portfolio Margin].
