Binance Margin supports different types of market orders, such as Market Order, Stop Market and Stop Loss Market Order on the trading page TP/SL.
The maximum market order amount for margin trading is shown on the Trading Rules page under [Maximum Market Order Amount (Margin)].
Please note:
The maximum market order amount you can place in margin trading is based on the Maximum Market Order Amount for spot trading, base asset rank, and the quote token. Below is the full formula:
Maximum Market Order Amount (Margin) = Maximum Market Order Amount (Spot Trading) * Base Asset Multiplier * Quote Token Multiplier
Base Asset Multiplier
Base Asset Rank | Multiplier |
0, 1, 2, 3 | 0.8 |
4, 5, 6, 7 | 0.6 |
8, 9, 10 | 0.4 |
Quote Token Multiplier
Quote Token | Multiplier |
USDT | 1 |
Others | 0.6 |
You can find the Spot “Maximum Market Order Amount” on the Trading Rules page, which shows the corresponding amount for each trading pair.
You can multiply the Spot Maximum Market Order Amount by the base and quote token multipliers to find the Margin Maximum Market Order Amount.
Each base token rank can be found on the Margin Data page. The “No.” represents the asset token rank number.
You can search for the base token you’d like to trade, and get the corresponding rank for the base token.
Please note that the multipliers used in the examples are based on data as of March 5, 2025, and multipliers may change from time to time due to market conditions. Please refer to the table above rather than the numbers shown in the examples.
Example 1:
Using the BTC/USDC pair as an example, assume。BTC ranks at 1, and the quote token is not USDT. Based on the tables, the Base Asset Multiplier and Quote Token Multiplier are 0.8 and 0.6 respectively. The maximum market order amount you can place is 15.95 BTC:
33.22984729 * 0.8 * 0.6 = 15.95 BTC
Example 2:
Using the ZRO/USDT pair as an example, assume ZRO ranks at 8, and the quote token is USDT. Based on the tables, the Base Asset Multiplier and Quote Token Multiplier are 0.4 and 1 respectively. The maximum market order amount you can place is 120,577.1835 ZRO:
301442.95878661 * 0.4 * 1 = 120,577.1835 ZRO
*Please note that due to extreme market movements, slippage may occur and the executed price of market order may be lower/higher than the last traded price you may have seen. Please pay attention to the market depth and price fluctuations.
For example, a Stop-Loss Market sell order is triggered at 103,924.43 and executed at 91,575.97.
