Many people think that it's bearish that Ethereum is trying to win it all (settlement, execution and SoV).
I believe that Ethereum will win it all and winning all 3 of these prongs is incredibly bullish and why ETH is going to one day be worth $100 trillion+.
Ethereum already won settlement - it's the world's greatest, most decentralised, most secure, most censorship-resistant network to ever exist. Zero downtime. Ultimate reliability.
Ethereum will win execution with its layer 2 ecosystem offering the fastest and cheapest transactions possible while settling on the world's greatest network. The ultimate user experience.
ETH will become the greatest store of value asset to ever exist giving holders the absolute strongest property rights that humanity has ever known. There is no second best.
The world computer is Ethereum and the ticker is ETH.
2 months ago, ETH was trading at ~$1400 and the peanut gallery on here was calling Ethereum dead, saying ETH was headed to $0, saying that Ethereum can't compete with other L1's, that the layer 2 roadmap is a mistake and so on. People seemed very "concerned".
Now, Ethereum is being presented to U.S congress as the future of the U.S (and global economy), Ethereum is still home to almost all of DeFi, it's where most stablecoins are issued on, where the coming wave of RWA tokenization will happen and Ethereum is the only ecosystem still embodying real cypherpunk values.
ETH is a $100 trillion asset trading at $320 billion - I don't think there's very long left before this thing rockets up and leaves absolutely everyone on CT sidelined.
Stop what you're doing right now and go read this prepared testimony that @VivekVentures from @Etherealize_io will be presenting tomorrow to the U.S House Committee on Financial Services .
I'm 100% confident that no other blockchain will ever achieve this level of client diversity - almost all of them are not even trying to because they know it's basically impossible.
As some of you know, @thedailygwei Refuel has been on a bit of a sabbatical for a little while now.
I went from doing episodes daily to a few times a week to once a week and now to maybe once every few weeks. This happened because I was simply burnt out and also neglected my physical and mental health for far too long (as well as personal relationships).
This industry is insane and tends to eat up all of your time and energy without you even realising it so consciously being aware of this and making sure you find a balance is essential.
Happy to report that over the last 2-3 months, I've made substantial changes in my life and I'm now in a place where I feel physically and mentally healthy - probably the best I've ever felt.
No promises on when I'll be back to doing regular Refuel episodes, but I'm hopeful it'll be sooner rather than later - thanks to all of those who continue to support me and my work ❤️
