🚨 $UXLINK HACKED – $11.3M DRAINED
What went wrong:
Hackers exploited a multi-sig flaw, minted over 1B fake UXLINK, and aggressively dumped tokens across CEXs & DEXs.
The damage:
- Attacker grabbed 490M UXLINK + minted even more
- Cashed out ~6,732 ETH (~$28M) through multiple wallets
- Price collapsed -95% in 2 hours
- Token still being minted & moved
Team response:
1) Confirmed fake tokens were minted → warned users not to trade on DEX
2) Asked exchanges to halt $UXLINK trading
3) Announced a token swap to reset supply & restore token economy
4) Working with CEXs & PeckShield, many stolen tokens already frozen
5) Claim no user wallets were directly attacked
The reality:
Trust is shattered. Even with a token swap, rebuilding confidence will be the hardest fight.
Many compare it to the $LUNA collapse - one exploit wiped out years of progress overnight.
Lesson: In crypto, one security flaw can nuke everything.
