Yes this is cool, but when you think about the fact that stablecoins are just digital cash, this isn't that 🤯 Less about "adoption" and more about learning what SCs are & how they work before these companies and many others implement digital cash into all our digital systems.
1/ Today the @SECGov issued guidance on activities involving "staking" / proof-of-stake consensus mechanisms. As in its POW/mining guidance, the SEC affirmed that participation in protocol staking activities does not require registration under the securities laws.
Very fun to discuss the evolution of crypto derivatives & futures @SolanaConf w Comm'sr Summer Mersinger of the @CFTC & Gio Vicioso of @CMEGroup. Biggest takeaway -- perps (a crypto fan fave, as we all know) are coming to the U.S.
