This afternoon, I took a look across the major coins, and $AVAX stood out as one of the biggest decliners: it’s now around $8.58, down 4.2% over the past 24 hours. It traded between $8.544 and $8.983 during that period, with roughly $17.26 million in 24-hour spot trading volume.

Looking at the past 7 days, this drop isn’t happening in isolation: the 7-day range is $8.0 to $9.162, with a 7-day change of -4.23%. The current price is about 7% above the 7-day low of $8.0 and over 6% below the 7-day high of $9.162, putting it in the lower-middle part of the 7-day range.

For now, just keep an eye on three levels: to the upside, $8.983, the 24-hour high; to the downside, $8.544, the 24-hour low, and then the 7-day low at $8.0. Until one of these levels breaks, today’s pullback is just a move within the range. A break in either direction could change the picture.

A one-day drop isn’t enough to call it a trend. The key thing to watch next is whether trading volume picks up.

Do you think AVAX will get back to $8.983 first, or test $8.544 first?
