Polymarket Engineering Vice President Josh Stevens said the team has built its own indexing system using the open-source Rust tool rindexer. On-chain events can now be seen up to about 14 blocks, or roughly 28 seconds, earlier, and indexing is completed within 0-10 milliseconds after block broadcast, bringing the system close to real time.

According to Foresight News, Stevens said trading, position, and balance updates will be faster. Goldsky will remain as a data backup, while the main path has been moved to the company’s self-built infrastructure.
