Every secure network is really a record of people choosing to trust a system, then continuing to trust it through uncertainty. That confidence is difficult to earn, which is why I’ve started to see it as a resource in its own right.

Not because of its mechanics, but because it suggests that self-custodied @bitcoin can contribute economic security to Proof-of-Stake blockchains without leaving the @Bitcoin network. It quietly separates two concepts I once treated as the same: owning an asset and participating in a broader ecosystem. Maybe they were never meant to be inseparable.

That thought also reshaped how I think about idle @BTC- . Instead of viewing it only as stored value, I began wondering whether capital can remain anchored in self-custody while still reinforcing the resilience of other networks. If so, $BITCOIN role may be expanding without abandoning the principles that gave it credibility in the first place.
I’m less interested in whether one model replaces another than in the possibility that security itself becomes something collaborative. If confidence can extend across different networks while preserving independence, perhaps we are only beginning to understand what trust can become.
