ESMA adds 14 new crypto-asset service providers to the interim MiCA register on 16 July 2026, bringing the total number of registered CASPs to 294. The most striking are Ripple Payments Europe and its European payments arm, Ripple, plus several unique names such as Bison Bank from Portugal, the Croatian state bank Hrvatska poštanska banka, two German bank cooperatives, and Kaiser Partner Privatbank from Liechtenstein.
- Ripple already received its full CASP license from CSSF Luxembourg in early July—this is just a matter of being added to ESMA’s register, which is updated weekly, not in real time.
