Ticketing platform KYD Labs launches TIX for live event financing.

Farcaster has shifted its business focus from social networks to cryptocurrency wallets.

According to co-founder Dan Romero's post on December 7, the blockchain-based social project Farcaster, founded by former Coinbase employees, will no longer operate a Twitter-like network but will focus on building cryptocurrency wallets.

Romero stated that the team spent over four years trying to develop a social-first product but found that their wallet was more popular, allowing users to hold and use cryptocurrencies directly on the blockchain without relying on banks.

Following the acquisition of the AI-driven token issuance tool Clanker built on Base, the company now expects to add social tools within the wallet, rather than supporting separate social applications.
