Is DGB (DigiByte) Still Worth Holding? Opinion + Latest Update

Hello friends, I want to share my views on DigiByte (DGB) — a coin that I still hold to this day. Many are asking, “Is DGB still worth holding?” In my opinion: yes — and many positive things that have happened recently make DGB still interesting.

1. Low Transfer Fees & Real Utility

Transactions with DGB remain fast and the fees are very low. For those who often send assets between wallets, this is very helpful.

2. Actively Developing Blockchain & Time-Tested

DGB has been around since 2014 and its network is continuously being updated. Recently, a major update and improvements were released — including a “core” upgrade and the integration of cutting-edge features — showing that this project is not dead but continues to be developed.

3. More Modern Technology (Taproot & Core Upgrade)

With the activation of advanced features like Taproot, DGB now has the potential to support smart contracts, applications, or other more complex features. It’s not just an “old” coin — but can adapt to the developments of modern crypto.

4. Potential for “Rebound” & Breakout in Price

According to the latest analysis, the DGB chart shows technical signals that could open up opportunities for an increase if resistance is successfully surpassed. For the long term, this is one of the factors that makes me comfortable holding.

5. Community & Supply — Reduce Selling Pressure

The DGB community now has a movement to pull coins from exchanges (self-custody), not just held by the exchange. If this activity is followed by many coin holders, the supply in the market could decrease — this could positively impact the value of DGB.

Personal Conclusion + Update

For me, DGB is still worth holding — it’s not the most hyped coin, but a stable coin with real utility, continuously developed, and has interesting technical & community potential. If you’re looking for a coin for the long term, with low fees and a “living” project, DGB could be a good choice.
