10 days ago, I traveled abroad and changed places to stay. Just yesterday, I discovered that a very expensive bag was lost. I asked my previous landlord, and surprisingly, he found it for me. I never expected this... Such things only happen in Dubai! My friend comforted me, saying I have a strong fate and often lose things, but in the end, I can always resolve it.

In Dubai, I visited @bill_qian's office to record a podcast. Cypher Capital is one of the most famous investment institutions in the Middle East, and this round focused on Sui and Solana. I found that a good interviewer can provoke deep thinking in people. Looking back at my life, I witnessed a car accident scene when I was about 5 or 6 years old; a chain collision happened right in front of us, and we narrowly escaped by just a few cars. I consider myself very lucky.

What is life really about? Making money and losing money are just part of the process. Everyone is on a journey to find their 'destiny' and 'path.' Recently, I saw people discussing the airdrop frenzy in the last cycle; there's no need to be anxious. Only a portion of people received the airdrop, and most of the small group I know ended up losing everything in this round of altcoin market.

The book 'The Bait of Luck' specifically studies the gambling industry and addiction. One sentence that deeply moved me was: Many people gamble not to win money in the end, but to continue playing and stay in the machine's maze, forgetting everything else. I am slowly understanding many trading mistakes, especially my own. Staying at the poker table while frequently wandering elsewhere is very challenging. This is human nature; trading ultimately is a battle against human nature.

In the coming year, I want to focus more on odds rather than win rates, and never engage in trades that can win small amounts multiple times but result in total loss with one failure. It's okay to lose small amounts many times, but when you make money, make it a big win.
