Satoshi Nakamoto's fortune declines by $42 billion
The fortune of the legendary Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, has decreased by about $42 billion after the price of Bitcoin fell by more than 30% since its all-time high in October.
According to Arkham Intelligence, Satoshi's fortune from Bitcoin, which amounts to 1.1 million Bitcoin, has declined from $136.8 billion in October 2025 to $94.8 billion at the time of publication.
Despite the enormity of his wealth, Forbes and other wealth trackers do not count Satoshi in their official billionaire lists, for reasons including the uncertain legal status of ownership and the fact that the coins have remained unused for over 15 years, leaving the ownership issue unclear.
Ironically, Satoshi's coins remain among the most prominent fortunes due to the transparency of the blockchain, which makes them visible to the world despite the owner's anonymity.
