The Global Liquidity Index gives a good overview of this. Far better than simply charting the M2 Money Supply which goes up only over time regardless. The Global Liquidity Index did hit a local top around the start of October which is also when BTC hit its local top & all time high. Since this week, it has been back on the ascend higher which, if continued, should help Bitcoin
