ALARMING NEWS in the U.S. due to Labor Shortage 💥🎯🔥🔥✅️📢📢📢📢
The CEO of FORD describes it bluntly, and this is a consequence of immigration policy... and abandoning technical training for skilled trades.
Speaking on the podcast Office Hours: Business Edition, Farley revealed that Ford currently has 5,000 vacant mechanic positions, each offering around $120,000/year — almost double the average salary in the U.S.
And it's not just Ford. Farley says that the entire country is facing a shortage of:
• 🚑 Emergency service workers
• 🚚 Truck drivers
• 🏭 Factory workers
• 🔌 Electricians
• 🔧 Plumbers
• 🔨 Tradespeople
“We are in trouble in our country... we have over a million vacancies in critical jobs.” — Jim Farley
Even with President Trump pushing to bring manufacturing back to the U.S., people simply are not applying.
📉 400,000+ manufacturing jobs remain open across the country.
📈 Enrollment in trade schools is increasing, especially among Generation Z
⏳ But many skills (like Ford diesel mechanics) require more than 5 years of training.
Farley says America stopped investing in technical education — and now it's paying the price.
His warning is clear:
📌 White-collar jobs may be affected by AI… but blue-collar jobs are starving for labor.
📌 These trades built the middle class, and without new workers, the system cannot function.
Is the U.S. heading towards a blue-collar collapse? Or will trade schools be revived and an urgent training program for these technical schools be started... otherwise a crisis is coming that will be a window of opportunity to cover with imported and previously qualified labor with the credentials and visa for that purpose...
This scenario brings us a question regarding the FED's speech
