FTSE Russell is bringing its benchmark indices on-chain for the first time through a collaboration with Chainlink. The global index provider will publish equity, FX, and digital asset benchmarks on multiple blockchain networks via Chainlink’s DataLink, making the data accessible to over 2,000 applications across more than 50 public and private blockchains. The move aims to transform traditional reference indices into programmable and verifiable financial primitives, providing trusted and high-quality data for both institutions and developers.
