A survey by the Argentine Congress shows that President Javier Milei was involved in a similar token scam two months before the LIBRA scandal broke, namely the KIP token launched in collaboration with Mauricio Novelli and Manuel Trones Godoy, which is set to be issued in December 2024. Evidence shows that Trones Godoy transferred 59,992 USDT to Novelli and transferred over 92,000 USDT through other transactions. The two profited $600,000 from KIP token sales in one day using a 'pump and dump' scheme. The committee confirmed that KIP token founder Julian Pe used a false identity and plans to submit all evidence to the criminal court.
