The program raised a total of $117,210 in stablecoin USDT, which, when converted to New Taiwan Dollars, amounts to 3,571,631 TWD. All funds have been donated to the Disaster Relief Foundation under the Ministry of Health and Welfare of Taiwan for the '0923 Hualien Mataian River Dam Disaster Project Fundraising' account, to assist in disaster relief and reconstruction efforts.
Within a week of the disaster, Binance began collaborating and communicating with the Blockchain Enthusiasts Association. As one of the main initiators of the program, Binance Charity donated 100,000 USDT to contribute to the post-disaster reconstruction efforts in Guangfu Township.
