HEMI - The Trade-Off between Scale and Security
HEMI takes on the challenge of scaling, providing interoperability and security by inheriting the same level of security as Bitcoin through its Proof-of-Proof (PoP) consensus, while enabling large-scale execution through its L2 system. There are trade-offs as finality may be slower than on standalone L1's, and tooling is still early, but the benefit is a programmable and more scalable system for Bitcoin that doesn't exist in isolation.
