Waking up at 5 AM to buy the dip, I was so sleepy that I took a nap. In the afternoon, I went out to practice billiards, and wearing the Binance T-shirt made it easy to clear the table in one shot, haha.
Since officially entering the crypto space in 2017, I have experienced too many black swan events and flash crashes, so I wasn't panicking at all this morning. A couple of days ago, I cleared out the altcoins, leaving only BNB and the staked ETH in my wallet untouched (this is also an issue of insufficient execution; I had a premonition of a drop but didn't fully short to protect profits, only hedged about 30% of my BNB position). It might also be because I've held them for too long and the cost is low, so it doesn't matter that much. Then I was chasing alpha to get 4 points of balance for each account, which made the capital more dispersed, resulting in being too busy during the morning dip-buying session and missing out on large positions, only managing to get a little profit. Reflecting on this, I don't oppose trading contracts, but contracts are tools that must come with stop-losses. You can't think that holding positions is fine as long as the margin is enough when the market is good, but the crypto space occasionally has black swan events. For so many years, there has been almost one every year. I often say that the crypto space specializes in those who don't believe in the unexpected; you can't have a gambling mindset. As long as you have the green mountains, you don't have to worry about not having materials to burn. Of course, for newcomers, it's better to avoid contracts and operate steadily in spot trading. If you don't have much capital, focus on earning some steady profits to accumulate funds. When you have capital, you can take out 10-20% to play with contracts for amplified returns, but of course, there's also the risk of liquidation to teach you a lesson and gain experience. Usually, you need to control your hands. Every time the market is hot and messy coins appear or the entire market is bragging about profits, you must have risk awareness because the capital market itself is a zero-sum game. How could everyone be making money? Where does that money come from? Many times, it’s just false prosperity. Sometimes I also find it strange; are those who say they've gone to zero for real? After reaching millions, why is there still full leverage? Maybe my perspective is too small #加密市场回调
