@BounceBit Core Technology Architecture: Dual Token Consensus and Cross-Chain Integration Design
The core of the BounceBit technical architecture is the innovative dual-token PoS consensus mechanism, which deeply binds the economic value of Bitcoin with the innovative functions of the native chain through a dual pledge design of "native token + Bitcoin," constructing a more resilient network security system. The operational logic is that validators must pledge both the native token BB and the wrapped Bitcoin bBTC to obtain node qualifications. The voting weight of nodes is dynamically calculated based on the pledge amount and real-time price ratio of the two tokens. Every 24-hour epoch period, active validators are re-elected, and rewards are settled in BB tokens per epoch, allowing validators to cover operational costs through commission collection.
This architecture brings dual advantages: it leverages Bitcoin's high liquidity and low volatility to protect the new chain from the risk of a "death spiral," while incentivizing deep community participation in governance through BB tokens. In the supporting technical system, the cross-chain module supports the integration of multi-chain Bitcoin assets such as BTCB on BNB Chain and WBTC on Ethereum, improving fund utilization efficiency by 40% compared to single-chain focused projects like Centrifuge. In terms of asset custody and settlement, it integrates Mainnet Digital custody services and Ceffu's MirrorX technology, achieving transparent reconciliation between on-chain assets and centralized trading through T+1 settlement cycles, balancing security and traceability.
