The team is strengthening Shibarium's bridge controls and custody procedures to avoid future difficulties. A cloud breach, developer device penetration, or supply-chain flaw are probable attack pathways for the compromised validators, which included internal ones. A comprehensive forensic assessment is ongoing. Update: Validator signing keys were in AWS Key Management Service, with restricted administrative usage on developer computers.
