Cipher Mining has signed a $3 billion, 10-year HPC hosting agreement with Fluidstack in Texas to provide 168 megawatts of IT load capacity for its data center located at Barber Lake. The contract could increase to $7 billion under renewal terms, backed by a $1.4 billion guarantee from Google. Furthermore, Cipher plans to raise $800 million through 0.00% convertible bonds maturing in 2031. The company will use the proceeds for HPC development in its 2.4 GW project pipeline and for general corporate purposes. Pre-market shares rose 4.5%.
